First there was Capeside, then Tree Hill. Now the story of Halo, West Virginia will be known. Like all the other small towns, Halo is full of interesting people. It’s odd for anyone to be a stranger, but it does happen. New faces show up all the time, and the town’s residence have pretty much stopped keeping track of all the new people. What is it that attracts the people to the town, though? Is it the clean, crisp mountain air, the many shops, or is it just the friendly atmosphere? Who knows. As time goes on the town continues to grow. More people come, and they usually bring the rest of their family with them. That’s alright, though. Halo has always had plenty of room to spare, and they just keep making more.
Some people like to think that Halo will be the next Boston or Charleston, but most people doubt that. The small town has lots to offer, but not that much. Still, people will believe what they want, and you’ll never change their minds. Of course, that doesn’t stop people from trying. Whatever your opinion, though, it doesn’t change the fact that the town continues to grow everyday. Halo is full of mysteries. They say that a tragedy took place in the town that left it haunted and cursed, but that’s just a superstition. The greatest mystery of all would be the origin of the town’s name: Halo. Few people could probably tell you it’s true nature, which is the name of it’s founder, James Halo. That doesn’t stop the stories. Some people claim a great battle was fought there; others think that the man who founded the town was high off something and thought he saw angels. Either way, they’re not true. You have been warned.
Whether it’s for adventure, mystery, or even the food, people flock to this town. Despite the harsh winters and humid summers, people always seem to stick around. So whatever the reason, come on in and have a look around. You never know what you’ll find, and you may even grow to like the town.
Where do you go when you’re lonely? Where do you go when you’re blue? When the stars go blue, Halo’s where you’ll be!
